Preparing for medicine and dentistry entrance exams
Biology and chemistry are central to many English-language medicine and dentistry entrance exams in Slovakia. Start with the admission rules and sample materials published by the faculty you plan to apply to. Exam format, dates, accepted qualifications and fees can change between intakes.
For the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava, check the official admission process before making a study plan. The faculty’s published rules take precedence over any summary here.
A practical study plan
- Read the faculty’s current exam syllabus and application instructions.
- Set aside regular time for biology and chemistry, with extra practice in weaker topics.
- Work through official materials and timed questions where the faculty provides them.
- Check the examination format and identification requirements well before test day.
- Keep copies of your application and watch for messages from the faculty.
EduSlovakia preparation courses
Our online preparation course advertised for May 2026 and its April 2026 registration deadline have passed. We have not listed a new course schedule or fee here until the next offer is confirmed. Contact [email protected] if you want to ask whether a future course is available, what it includes and who teaches it. A preparation course cannot guarantee an exam result or admission.
After the entrance exam
The university or faculty alone decides admission. If you need a visa or residence permit, you must check the exact rules with the Slovak embassy responsible for your country and the competent Slovak authorities. EduSlovakia does not prepare, submit or manage visa or residence permit applications. This article provides general information only; confirm current requirements directly with the university and responsible embassy. See our Admissions, Visa and Residence Policy.
